Live Demo Web Experience

 

You know what I love about landing page design? It doesn’t need to be complicated. And after a decade plus of designing for inbound marketing I’ve got a pretty good understanding of what makes a page convert.

In the case of Owl Labs’ weekly live demo experience, the lead gen process needed some love — both the sign up page and recording page were missing some basic best practices. My design work, in partnership with our Digital and Demand Gen marketers, instituted the following improvements:

  • Strong contextual product imagery — the Meeting Owl experience needs to be seen to be believed

  • A single and focused call to action with minimal navigation

  • A clear value prop and digestible benefits

  • Social proof

  • Lead routing for those who wanted to jump directly to sales or would miss the live event

Sometimes simple really is better.

 
  • Desktop and mobile web design for our live demo sign up page (A/B versions for testing) and post-demo recording page

  • Redesign the lead gen experience to utilize conversion optimization best practices
